Personal and Leadership Development Case Study
A family business needed to restructure the business and share ownership due to the retirement of the founder. Although an exit strategy had been devised previously it had not been adhered to or completed effectively and there was growing conflict. Directors had been appointed but were not performing.
I worked both individually and collectively to work through the detail to enable each family member and director to have the space and time to be heard and to fully understand what each of them understood and wanted for the transition. This resulted in the effective gradual exit of the founder and the board of directors to develop clear roles and responsibilities that were underpinned by an effective appraisal process. The company is now scaling up and growing with a new found energy and entrepreneurial leadership structure.
